Eleonora Coelho

President of the CAM-CCBC

[1] The headquarters of Sao Paulo is used as reference for the definition of business days of the CAM-CCBC, even though there is also a CAM-CCBC office in Rio de Janeiro.

[2] Despite the anticipation of the holidays of Sao Paulo Anniversary (January) and Corpus Christi (June) by the Government of Sao Paulo, CAM-CCBC maintained its operations on those dates, as per the Communication of the Presidency dated of March 22nd, 2021. Thus, CAM-CCBC will not be open for business on such dates in 2022.

[3] See footnote 2.

[4] See footnote 2.

[5] Thus, if – for example – a notification is received on a non-business day, such as on a Saturday or a Sunday, then for purposes of time counting it will be deemed to have been received on the subsequent business day, usually a Monday.

[6] CAM-CCBC Rules, Article 6.6.2. A time period will be considered to extend to the next business day if it expires on a day during which the CAM-CCBC is not open for business.
