The CAM-CCBC began a cycle of debates aimed at addressing Mediation in Public Administration. The first event took place in June with the presence of more than 50 participants in the auditorium of the Chamber and had three discussion panels with representatives of public agencies.

The event began with the theme “Essential Requirements for the establishment and closing of Mediation with the Public Administration”, presented by Affonso Henriques Motta Barboza, from Petrobrás, Rogerio Felippe, from CPTM, and Bruno Megna, from the Attorney General’s Office of the State of São Paulo, at a table coordinated by Isabella Moreira Abrão. The following panel examined “Mechanisms for control and monitoring of transactions resulting from Mediation with the Public Administration”, coordinated by Beatriz Vidigal Xavier da Silveira Rosa and presented by Nilma de Castro Abe, from the Federal Attorney’s Office, Alexandre Alberto Azevedo Magalhães, from the São Paulo Public Prosecutor’s Office, and Flávio Barbarulo Borgheresi, from the State of São Paulo General Accounting Office. To conclude, the theme on “Mediation with Arbitration and Dispute Board in Public Administration” had as speakers Ricardo Medina and Cesar Augusto Guimarães, coordinated by Adolfo Braga Neto. In the closing, made by the CAM-CCBC Secretary General Eleonora Coelho, the relevance of the action was highlighted, which reached the participation of important public institutions. The Cycle will continue in the second semester with more meetings.
