Mattos Filho joins CCBC

A full-service excellence law firm that operates in over 40 areas of law, Mattos Filho has just joined the Chamber of Commerce Brazil-Canada (CCBC). According to partner Diego Herrera de Moraes, joining the Chamber will be positive for the firm’s operations. “CCBC is a forum for meeting and fostering business, educational and cultural initiatives on the Brazil-Canada two-way border. Thus, the association of Mattos Filho with CCBC, which includes the coordination of the recently founded Brasilia chapter, will allow us another step towards advising clients interested in generating business in both countries. This will allow us to assist them even more effectively, not only in the legal formatting of these businesses, but also in the establishment of strategic contacts to promote them”, he stated.

Herrera de Moraes also pointed out the advantages that the CCBC representation in Brasilia may bring: “It will serve as a relevant bridge that will favor the dialogue of CCBC members with the diplomatic representation of Canada and with the Brazilian and Canadian public authorities, in order to foster trade and Brazil-Canada relations, as well as, and more broadly, promote the projects and institutional objectives of CCBC itself.”

Recently, Mattos Filho launched the innovation program attix, which connects national and international startups to companies in different sectors, and offers the firm’s clients access to innovative solutions and the best tools in the market. Through Único – news portal, Mattos Filho also provides legal content on various legal themes that impact business, prepared by its partners and lawyers in news, article and podcast formats.
