Marcato Group joins the Brazil Hub

Specialized in offering integrated and customized solutions in engineering and project management serving industry, commercial and logistics centers. The Marcato Group began operations in 2013 and in this first decade has expanded its team to over 160 employees, has three units in the state of São Paulo – two in Hortolandia and one in Sao José dos Campos – and an operation in Houston (USA). And now, attentive to the opportunities of the Canadian market, it has just joined the Brazil Hub – an initiative of the Chamber of Commerce Brazil-Canada (CCBC) that facilitates the installation of Brazilian companies in Canada, with emphasis on infrastructure support, documentation and facilitation of partnerships with Canadian companies and institutions.

“We sought CCBC as part of our internationalization strategy. Canada is very important to us: it is a country that encourages innovation, helps entrepreneurs, has an interesting industrial park and several universities where we can have potential partnerships and develop knowledge. For us, having access to this information – and also taking our expertise there – represents an important step in our internationalization strategy”, besides consolidating our presence and performance in North America, states the group’s founder and CEO, Edson Marcato.

This internationalization process began in 2020, with the creation of Marcato Group International and the start of operations in the US, and should intensify over the next few years. And, in the case of Canada, joining the Brazil Hub should facilitate the company’s contacts in the country. “Through CCBC, we can have access to potential clients in Canada, and also serve Canadian companies operating in Brazil, for example. Our objective is to be present in the Canadian market by 2023,” adds Marcato.
