CCBC expands its presence in Canada

CCBC has definitely integrated itself to the Canadian day-to-day. A cocktail party for about 80 businessmen, local political figures, representatives of the federal government and associates marked the inauguration of chapter Montreal, the Chamber’s fixed office in the city. The office will act as an important reinforcement to CCBC’s actions in various regions of Canada.

“This subsidiary will serve as a strategic and logistical base for Canadian and Brazilian companies in fostering initiatives, business missions and business roundtables. It will facilitate international support for our associates and activities,” said Paulo de Castro Reis, Director of Institutional Relations at CCBC.

The cocktail was held on November 7 at the headquarters of the National Bank of Canada (NBC), located in the financial center of Montreal. The initiative has the support of the Consulate General of Brazil in the city.

Reinforcing CCBC’s active programming in the region, alongside NBC and the Consulate, CCBC supported an event held on the same day by the law firm GT Lawyers with the theme “Challenges and guidelines for business and investment in Brazil.”
