VarejoConnect creates database for supermarkets

With two decades of experience in the food retail sector, VarejoConnect is specialized in structuring projects aimed at the expansion of retail chains, in addition to acting as an intermediary in the purchase and sale of stores, commercial points, supermarket chains and other related assets to the segment.

In order to offer a more complete service, VarejoConnect developed a tool that physically mapped more than 5,000 stores in the state of São Paulo. This crossing of information allowed the creation of a database with strategic store information, allowing for a better and more accurate identification of supermarket chain expansion opportunities.

Thus, if a given network intends to expand based on the identification of a specific retail profile, VarejoConnect maps all existing opportunities in the customer’s area of interest, in addition to surveying owners and identifying merger and acquisition opportunities. The reverse is also possible – that is, retailers looking for buyers interested in their locations.
