When structuring an efficient asset security platform, it is necessary to have an overview of the areas that contain alarms in maintenance. This way, it is possible to avoid that eventual “blind spots” in the monitoring may compromise the efficiency of the system.

Genetec, a company specialized in developing security systems, is releasing version 5.10.4 of its unified Security Center platform. Through it, an additional feature allows users to manage security more effectively by promptly identifying areas with alarms under maintenance. An icon can be added to display these zones on the map, thereby reducing both noise and alarm stress.
