UCW launches scholarships for Brazilians

By Sérgio Siscaro

Located in Vancouver, on Canada’s west coast, the University Canada West (UCW) is a private institution of higher education recognized for enabling students from other countries to pursue professional careers in a wide range of activities. In order to increase the participation of students from Latin American countries, the university is launching the Americas Tuition Scholarship, through which it is possible to obtain discounts on UCW tuition fees.

The initiative will allow a greater number of Brazilian students to get to know UCW up close. Focused mainly on the areas of business, technology and innovation, the university has mechanisms that make it possible to better prepare its students for the Canadian job market, developing disruptive tools that put them in a prominent place in the competition for vacancies.

The institution also maintains partnerships with major companies such as IBM and Salesforce, and offers a Career Development Center, aimed at supporting and counseling students with trained professionals. As a result of these initiatives, 96.9% of UCW students are able to enter the job market within 12 months of graduation.

The Americas Tuition Scholarship is already available for enrollment in 2022.
