Canada-Mercosur trade agreement will be one of the themes of the 2019 edition

Following the success of the first edition in 2018, the CCBC will hold the 2nd Brazil-Canada Trade Meeting, an initiative of the Chamber’s Foreign Trade Commission. The event will present panels on various topics: logistics, negotiation of the agreement between Mercosur and the Canadian government, among others.

Brazil and Canada have been important trading partners for more than 150 years. This proximity has been translated into transactions between both countries. In the comparative period 2017-2018, the trade flow (sum of imports with exports) grew 25%, while the Brazilian trade balance reached US $ 1.1 billion, 15% higher than the one registered at the end of 2017.

The 2nd Comex Brazil-Canada Meeting will be attended by the Canadian Ambassador and will be held on March 22nd. Click here and learn more.
