BMA analyzes the impact of the ESG agenda

Adherence to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria has become, more and more, an important factor for companies in a variety of segments. In addition to providing access to financing and inclusion in specific capital market listings, the incorporation of corporate sustainability practices plays an important role by establishing better conditions for the company to compete in the marketplace. And the health crisis, caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, has made the topic more relevant than ever.

With the purpose of presenting a legal and business view on the topic, the law firm BMA Advogados has just launched the e-book A Post-Covid World: The ESG Agenda and Other Trends in 2021 – Insights for Foreign Investors in Brazil, which analyzes the main trends that can impact on companies, especially those interested in investing in the Brazilian market. In the publication, in addition to the ESG agenda, subjects such as the digital transformation process of the economy, the growing importance of innovation, and the use of the capital markets as a way to raise funds are addressed.
