Université de Montréal promotes “Summer School

The Université de Montréal (UdeM) is launching a “Summer School”, through which students aged 15 to 17 will have access to two weeks of immersive activities at the Canadian university in a variety of thematic workshops. Among the subjects available are: architecture, computer science, political science, film, digital communication, criminology, game design, DNA and molecular biology, international studies and social work, among others. The workshops can be taught in English or French.

Applications can be made at https://ecole-dete.umontreal.ca/pt/ . Those interested in applying for the “Summer School” need to create an account and fill out the form; the deadline for submitting the application for admission is February 1, 2023, and the fee is C$3,200. Students who apply by January 15, 2023 will get a discount – and the promotional fee of C$2,900. To participate, it is mandatory to provide the student’s last report card. If a written teacher evaluation is not submitted (as is the case in some school systems), it is recommended that the applicant attach a letter of recommendation for the completion of their application.

Located in Montreal, Quebec, UdeM is ranked as one of Canada’s top higher education institutions by Research Infosource and Times Higher Education. The university has 67,400 students in 13 colleges and schools, as well as two other affiliated institutions, offering more than 600 programs – undergraduate, bachelor’s, graduate, and doctoral.
