Canadian company Genetec, the world leader in IP video monitoring, security software and intelligence operations, is launching in Brazil solutions developed especially for the needs of hospitals in the current world pandemic scenario. Among the novelties, access controls to specific areas for a certain period, avoiding waste of personal protective equipment; thermal cameras for triage and forwarding possible contaminants, with integration with people counting, line management and heat maps; and monitoring of patient beds, reducing contact and preventing the contamination of health professionals.

The solutions, which are already being used successfully in Canadian and North American hospitals, are now also available to Brazilian health institutions, through joint work by Genetec with CCBC.
